Becoming an AutoAuth Certified Technician requires either shop administrator status or being a user added to a shop. While standard accounts require individual user certifications, AutoAuth Plus accounts include five certifications automatically. To purchase certifications, navigate to “Shop Profile” (crossed wrenches icon) in the upper right corner and select “Subscriptions.”

Click “Add Tech Certifications,” choose the desired number (one per user), then click “Add Tech Certifications” again to finalize the purchase and update your certification count. For immediate assistance or questions about certification, contact AutoAuth directly at 888-830-2884.

After purchasing, access “My Profile” by clicking your initials in the upper right corner. Under “AutoAuth Certified Technician Status,” enter your text-capable mobile number and click “Send Verification Code.” A text message containing a confirmation code will be sent to your device. Enter this code in the “Verification Code” box and click “Submit Verification Code.” A green checkmark will confirm successful verification. Need help? Call 888-830-2884.

Next, click “Verify ID Document” and use your mobile phone to scan the provided QR code. Have your photo ID ready for photo capture during this process. Upon completion, the “AutoAuth Certified Technician” logo will appear in your profile, granting immediate access to the tool.
