“To truly validate a career path, three elements are essential: exposure, education, and experience. ACAP delivered all three for me. My exposure to accounting as a viable career path began in the summer of 2007 when I participated in NABA Milwaukee’s Accounting Career Awareness Program. Receiving an introductory education to fundamental accounting and business principles gave me a significant advantage when I took accounting courses in high school. Through NABA, I secured valuable college internships, allowing me to experience a ‘Day in the Life’ in the field. I left ACAP knowing anything was achievable.
