Who Should Apply for the Career Jumpstart Program?
The Career Jumpstart Program is designed for motivated individuals who meet the following criteria:
- Resident of San Diego County: Applicants must reside within San Diego County to be eligible for the program.
- High School Diploma or GED: A high school diploma or GED equivalent is required.
- Valid California Driver’s License: Possession of a valid California driver’s license is necessary.
- Age 18 and Over: Applicants must be 18 years of age or older.
- Physical Capability: Applicants must possess the physical ability to perform the demanding duties of a skilled laborer position, including lifting, carrying, and working in various conditions.
- English Language Proficiency: Applicants must be able to understand and effectively carry out instructions in English.
Eligible applicants will be required to verify income through our career centers to ensure program resources are directed to those who need them most.
