At Boeing, a commitment to innovation and global betterment drives us. We foster a welcoming, respectful, and inclusive environment where every team member has opportunities for professional growth. Discover your future with us through the Boeing Finance Career Foundation Program (FCFP), designed to accelerate your career in the world of finance within a leading aerospace company.

The Finance Career Foundation Program is a highly selective, two-year rotational program meticulously crafted for ambitious early-career finance professionals. Each July, a new cohort of participants joins the FCFP at key Boeing locations across the United States, including sites in Washington, Missouri, and Arizona. The program’s unique structure involves an immersive experience, beginning with the first 12 months at an initial site, followed by two strategically planned relocations every six months. These company-sponsored relocations are designed to broaden participants’ horizons, offering in-depth exposure to diverse facets of finance across Boeing’s extensive U.S. production network. Locations may include Washington, Missouri, Pennsylvania, Arizona, California, Oklahoma, South Carolina, and Texas, providing a comprehensive understanding of Boeing’s national operations.

Through four carefully structured six-month rotations, participants gain invaluable hands-on experience, building a robust professional network while contributing to real-world projects. These rotations are specifically designed to cultivate essential technical skills and provide broad exposure to both Boeing’s business and corporate portfolios. Participants will delve into critical areas such as cash and cost management, gain insights into dynamic market trends, understand intricate accounting policies, and contribute to financial reporting. The program also illuminates the complex relationships between aircraft production and aftermarket services, providing experience in proposal development and contract negotiations. This comprehensive skill set and diverse experience are fundamental in establishing a strong foundation for a successful and impactful finance career at Boeing.

Beyond the practical rotations, the FCFP is committed to holistic professional development. Participants engage in five dedicated in-person development weeks hosted at various Boeing sites, fostering collaboration and deeper learning. Each participant is paired with experienced Finance leaders for mentorship, providing personalized guidance and career advice. Furthermore, the program offers direct learning opportunities from industry experts, ensuring participants are at the forefront of financial best practices and innovation. Upon successful completion of the program, participants are strategically placed into Finance roles that align with their individual career aspirations and preferred locations. This placement process also carefully considers individual performance throughout the program and the evolving business needs across all Boeing U.S. sites, ensuring a mutually beneficial match for both the participant and the company.

This prestigious program offers positions at major Boeing sites across the U.S., including Berkeley, MO, Saint Charles, MO, Hazelwood, MO, Mesa, AZ, Tukwila, WA, Everett, WA, Renton, WA, and Seattle, WA. While some rotations may offer limited telecommuting options, on-site presence at the assigned location is a core requirement to foster strong working relationships with peers and build a collaborative team environment.
