Meet the 2024-2025 Family of the Year: The Dildays!

The Dilday family exemplifies the ECU spirit. Nominated by mother Koryn, a 1999 ECU Elementary Education graduate and former cheerleader, the family has deep roots at the university. Brian, Koryn’s husband, was Homecoming King in 1997 and actively involved in campus life. Their daughter Kayce recently graduated in May 2024, continuing the family’s Pirate legacy. Even their youngest children are enthusiastic ECU fans. The Dildays, with their extended family of exchange students turned Pirate fans, embody the heart of ECU.
