JPRO 2024: Noregon Releases Powerful Diagnostic Software Update

Noregon has announced the release of its JPRO Professional 2024 v3 software update, a significant advancement in diagnostic and troubleshooting capabilities for commercial vehicles and off-highway equipment. This release boasts expanded engine support, broader off-highway equipment compatibility, and enhanced features for improved diagnostics.

Enhanced Engine Support in JPRO 2024

Jpro 2024 v3 provides crucial updates for International and PACCAR engines. This includes comprehensive bi-directional support for the International GHG17 A26 engine, enabling in-depth diagnostics and control. Additionally, the update introduces cylinder compression testing for PACCAR’s GHG17-GHG21 MX engines, allowing for more precise diagnostics of engine health.

Expanded Off-Highway Equipment Compatibility

Caterpillar off-highway equipment owners will benefit from expanded support for 486 additional models. JPRO 2024 now allows access to proprietary diagnostic fault codes, event codes, crucial data parameters, and bi-directional functions for these models.

Furthermore, JPRO’s compatibility extends to 30 new Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs) and 600 models of Cummins-powered off-highway equipment. This integration empowers technicians with access to proprietary diagnostic fault codes, event codes, data, and bi-directional tests for a wider range of machinery.

Enhanced Features for GM and Bendix Systems

JPRO 2024 v3 includes proprietary support and bi-directional tests for GM vehicles equipped with 6.6L (L8T) engines. This addition strengthens JPRO’s diagnostic capabilities for a popular engine platform.

Significant improvements have also been made for Bendix Brakes systems. The update introduces numerous new bi-directional tests for Bendix Trailer Brake Systems and Bendix Driver Assistance Systems, providing comprehensive diagnostic coverage for these critical safety components.

Streamlined ECU Updates

The JPRO 2024 v3 update simplifies the process of updating Engine Control Unit (ECU) software. Users can now directly launch OEM component diagnostic applications from the Software Connection Warnings dialog when an ECU update is available for supported OEMs. This streamlined workflow saves time and ensures vehicles are equipped with the latest software versions.
