MB Technical Training: Your Path to Apprenticeship Certification

Technical training is a critical component of apprenticeship programs in Manitoba. Representing roughly 20% of the required hours for certification, Mb Technical training provides apprentices with the theoretical knowledge and practical skills necessary to excel in their chosen trades. This article offers a comprehensive overview of the MB technical training program, including registration details, course schedules, fees, and important information for prospective apprentices.

Understanding the Importance of MB Technical Training

Apprenticeship Manitoba strongly advises individuals to accumulate at least six months of on-the-job experience, or half a level, before enrolling in the corresponding technical training level. Ideally, apprentices should participate in technical training annually to maintain a consistent learning pace and build upon their practical experience. This combined approach ensures a well-rounded skillset and prepares apprentices for the challenges of their chosen trade.

Navigating the MB Technical Training Registration Process

Registration for technical training courses in Manitoba is now open for the academic year spanning April 1, 2025, to March 31, 2026. To assist with planning, Apprenticeship Manitoba has published the course schedules for both the current (2024-2025) and upcoming (2025-2026) academic years.
