First introduced nearly two decades ago, WABCO’s Toolbox software has undergone continuous upgrades. Currently utilized by approximately 12,000 fleets, dealers, and independent service garages, Toolbox Plus builds upon this legacy with automatic software upgrades and an intuitive user interface. The redesigned homepage features applications conveniently grouped by vehicle type: truck, tractor, bus, and trailer.
A key feature of Toolbox Plus is its automated “roll call” function. This automatically detects and displays all WABCO systems present on the connected vehicle. With a single click, users can diagnose fault codes, access repair and installation instructions, and review maintenance manuals.

Aftermarket Programming Capabilities
Beyond diagnostics, WABCO Toolbox Plus offers aftermarket programming functionality. This allows for on-demand programming of replacement Electronic Control Units (ECUs) for WABCO truck ABS and the WABCO OnLaneALERT® Lane Departure Warning camera. ZF is currently the sole supplier providing aftermarket programming of ABS ECUs, offering fleets significant advantages in reducing downtime, minimizing inventory needs, and controlling costs.
