Aurora Sinai and Aurora St. Luke’s Hospitals serve as the Milwaukee clinical campus for the esteemed University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public Health. Our dedicated faculty are deeply integrated with the University of Wisconsin School of Medicine’s TRIUMPH (Training in Urban Medicine and Public Health) program, contributing to the education of future physicians focused on urban health challenges. Furthermore, we are a prominent clinical site for students from the Medical College of Wisconsin and Des Moines University College of Osteopathic Medicine, ensuring a diverse and enriching learning environment. Aurora Health Care is committed to postgraduate medical education, sponsoring exceptional fellowship training programs in a wide spectrum of specialties. These include Cardiology, with five advanced sub-fellowships, Critical Care Medicine (launching in July 2023), Gastroenterology, Geriatrics, Hematology/Oncology, and Hospice and Palliative Medicine, as well as Hyperbaric Medicine and Wound Care. Our Cardiology Department is internationally recognized, offering a foundational three-year Cardiology Fellowship in addition to specialized training in Electrophysiology, Interventional Cardiology, Structural Interventional Cardiology, Advanced Heart Failure, and Cardiac Imaging. The Gastroenterology Fellowship is meticulously crafted to cater to both clinically focused and academically inclined gastroenterologists. The Geriatrics Fellowship emphasizes both clinical expertise and research capabilities, providing access to Aurora’s renowned Geriatrics Institute and Acute Care of the Elderly (ACE) unit. The upcoming Critical Care Medicine Fellowship will leverage the diverse and specialized intensive care units at Aurora St. Luke’s Hospital.
